One Sticker, one QR code, four modes: why we created a multi use digital wallet

Not long ago, QR codes were nothing more than simple shortcuts. You scanned them and landed on a single link, a web landing page and short message. Practical, but limited.

The FindR app and its QR code stickers have evolved into something far more flexible. They now behave like a digital wallet for physical objects, able to switch roles depending on context and user intent.

The real transformation comes from 'modes': Instead of locking a sticker into a single function, users can now choose different uses and experiences.

Private Mode: 'protection First'

The first and most natural evolution of the QR sticker is protection. Private Mode allows someone who finds an item to contact the owner without revealing personal information. Communication happens through secure messaging while the owner stays in control of what they share. The sticker becomes a silent safety layer attached to everyday essentials.

Bio Mode: 'share more information about you'

The QR code stickers quickly expanded beyond lost item recovery and entered the world of digital identity. Bio Mode transforms a sticker into a CUSTOM profile or landing page where users can display social links, contact buttons, and personal content. It turns a your QR code into a living business card or hub.

Last but not least, if you activate and download Wallpaper, your contact becomes instantly shareable through a simple scan from your smartphone. Practical.

Wall Mode: 'speak with stickers'

The next step pushed interaction even further. Wall Mode introduces real time conversations linked to objects or locations. A sticker can now create a digital space where people nearby can interact, leave messages, or engage with content. The QR code sticker stops being just a connector and becomes a communication tool, a small forum or a community.

Link Mode brings complete flexibility by allowing the sticker to redirect toward any external digital destination. It can connect to websites, social platforms, payment pages, or promotional content. One sticker now become a marketing tool or a communication gateway.

Together, these four modes redefine what a FindR 'connected' stickers can be. Instead of serving one fixed purpose, it becomes a modular interface where users choose how their objects behave.

The sticker remains physically simple, yet digitally it unlocks multiple cases of protection, communication and interaction.

It started as a link, it is now becoming the new digital 'Post-It'.
